1. About this notice
This Privacy & Data Usage notice explains how The Image API handles your personal information when you use our service.
2. Who we are
The Image API is operated by pulledtheirlife.support. We provide a service that allows users to upload and manage images through our platform, with API access for developers to integrate image functionality into their applications.
3. What we collect
- Account data from Discord OAuth: Discord User id, username, and avatar.
- Sessions: a server-side session entry containing authentication state (no passwords are stored by us).
- Upload records: filenames, category, status, timestamps, and optional review notes. Uploaded files may be held in temporary storage during review. If approved, images are stored permanently. If rejected, files are deleted.
4. Cookies & similar technologies
- Session cookie to keep you logged in (HTTP-only, same-site).
- CSRF token cookie to protect form submissions.
5. Why we collect data
- Authenticate users and provide dashboard features.
- Generate and manage API keys and daily quotas.
- Prevent abuse via rate limiting and cooldowns.
- Review uploads for rule compliance.
- Operate and secure the Service.
6. Legal basis (EU/EEA)
- Contractual necessity: to provide the Service you request (e.g., account, dashboard, API keys).
- Legitimate interests: to keep the Service secure and prevent abuse.
- Consent: where we ask for it explicitly.
7. Retention
- Sessions: typically up to 24 hours, then expire automatically.
- API usage counters: reset daily; audit traces kept as needed.
- Upload records: retained for moderation and audit history.
- Account data: retained while your account exists, or until you request deletion subject to legal/operational constraints.
8. Your rights
Where applicable under EU/EEA law, you may have rights to access, rectify, delete, restrict or object to processing, and data portability. To exercise these rights, contact us.
9. Sharing
We will never share personal data with anyone else, and we do not sell personal data.
